Margaret Ruth Pollard

Peacefully at her home in Cobourg on Saturday, February 23rd, 2013, Ruth Pollard (nee Merrick) at 91 years of age.  Beloved wife of the late James Keith Pollard.  Dear mother of the late Jay Pollard (Lise) of Thunder Bay and Christopher Pollard (Ann Ramsay) of Vancouver.  Cherished grandmother of David Pollard (Tara) of Oakville and Cameron (Samantha) and Reilly Pollard of Vancouver.  Step-grandmother of Stephanie of Waterloo and Anne Marie Giddings of Thunder Bay. Cherished great grandmother to Morgan and Aidan Pollard.  Sister of Dr. Bill Merrick (Joyce) of Duluth, Minnesota and the late John Merrick (Jean) of Moline, Illinois. Sister-in-law of Shirley Pollard and the late Alan Pollard of Cobourg and aunt of Laura, Mark and Luke Pollard.  Dear friend and lovingly supported by Colleen and Murray Simon and their family Will, Rachelle, Alexander, and Ria of Cobourg.  A memorial service will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church (Corner of College and King St. E in Cobourg) on Saturday, March 2nd, at 2 p.m..  Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a donation to St. Peter's Anglican Church.  Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.
