Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Monday, December 10th, 2012, Val Baldini at 71 years of age. Beloved husband of Lori Baldini (nee Stephens). Dear father of (TPR) Darrin Baldini (LeeAnne), Deborah Groves, and Diane Hannah (Bev). Also missed by his business partner and best friend John Brown. Cherished grandfather of Amanda, Brianna, Cheyanna, Andrew (Sara), Christopher, Vanessa (Nick), Hayley, Jennifer, Tyson, and great grandfather of Lyla, Clance. Brother of Theresa, Eleanor (Bob), the late Marino (Marg), the late Victor (Phyll), Lenard, Carmel (George). He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Unit at NHH and to Dr. David Moorsom. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church (Corner of University & Division St. in Cobourg) on Saturday, December 15th, at 10 am. Visitation to be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Friday, December 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Cremation to follow Mass with later interment at St. Michael's Cemetery in Cobourg. Those wishing may make a memorial donation by cheque to Fare Share - Northumberland.
