Peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital on Friday, May 18th, 2012, Bruce Norman at 80 years of age. Good friend and loving partner of Shirley Adams and former husband of the late Phyllis Newton. Cherished father of Louise King (Phil) and loving grandfather of Jeremy King. Survived by his beloved brother Glen (Hazel). Predeceased by his sisters Marie, Grace, and Dianne. Sadly missed by his niece Jackie. Will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, his friends in the community, and all his friends at the bingo hall. Predeceased by his dear pet Tess. Cremation with Memorial Visitation being held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Saturday, May 26th, from 2 to 4 pm. Those wishing may make a memorial donation by cheque to the Northumberland Humane Society or the Shelter of Hope. Bruce's family would like to thank Dr. Moorsom, Dr. Hazell, the Red Cross, V.O.N., the nursing staff of Northumberland Hills Hospital, and a special thanks to Colin who was with Bruce at the very end.
