Leonard Matthew Craig

From his rural upbringing in Arundel, Quebec to Cobourg, Leonard's journey has come to an end.  Whether he was farming, painting, gardening, "Oddfellow'ing' or watching his beleaguered Maple Leafs, Len lived his life with a quiet dignity that will be forever remembered by his devoted daughter, Beth Hunt, and his beloved grandson, P.J. LeConte.  He is now with his wife Mary, his parents Matthew and Rachel and his siblings Elsie, Wes and Margaret.  Always a true gentleman, Leonard also leaves behind his son-in-law Jamie Hunt and nieces and nephews in Ontario and Quebec.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday April 7 at noon at Union Cemetery in Cobourg with a reception following at the Cobourg Memorial Temple (Oddfellow and Rebekah Hall 412 Victoria St. Cobourg) at 2 p.m.  Please join us to say hello and reminisce about a friend and loved one.  To honour Leonard, please do a quiet act of gentle kindness for a friend, family member or a stranger.  As he lived his life, so shall he be remembered.
