Dorothy Holmes of Cobourg, passed peacefully the evening of February 28th, 2012, at Streamway Villa, with Stuart, Rose-Mary, Edna and Joseph at her side. Dorothy is a cherished companion to Stuart Huffman. Her children are so grateful for ongoing care from Stuart, Rose-Mary and the wonderful staff at Streamway Villa. Dorothy will be greatly missed by her 8 children, Betty (Jim), Rose-Mary (Paul) Edna (Gary), Marian, Mary (Gord), Chris (Deb) and Joseph (Heather). Dorothy was a grandmother to 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Dorothy was predeceased by her 7 sisters & brothers and survived by Theresa Desjardin of North Bay. Dorothy will be deeply missed by Stuart and her family. A private family service will be held. If desired, donations can be made in memory of Dorothy to the Northumberland Humane Society.
