Wrathall, Dr. Ernest Lawrence (Physician & Surgeon, District Coroner, U of T Meds 1940, Squadron Leader RCAF WWII Yarmouth, N.S. and Sr. Medical Officer of the RCAF at Summerside, PEI and Moncton, N.B.). In his 92nd year Ernest left this world at 2:12pm Thursday, December 4th ,2003 while holding his daughter's hand. Formerly of Perth, Toronto and Port Hope where he practiced medicine from 1946-1980. Son of the late Mary Elizabeth Paul and William J. Wrathall (CPR) of Perth. Husband for 61 years to the late Isabel Leone Cawker, formerly of Port Perry (Jan. 10, 1913 - Aug. 13, 2003). Loving and adored father of the late Byron Doyle Wrathall (1945-1970), Janis Robinson Hillel (Dan, Richmond Hill) and Stuart Douglas Wrathall (Ann Noble, Sutton). Proud grandfather of Holly, Jonathan and Scott. Ernest's was a long life, lived in full with huge obstacles bravely surmounted. ?Ernie? often seemed larger than life and he loved the art and science of medicine with its problem-solving challenges. He ushered many lives into the world and cared for many others. His waiting room is full again and waiting for him. Ernest was a devoted family man, a loyal friend, and a force to be reckoned with. He had a unique, delightful and colourful sense of humour, which seems to have been passed down the line! Ernie loved cars, planes and trains and vacations anywhere in the HOT sun! He leaves an enormous gap in the family portrait. Thank you Dr. Ray Tesluk, Cathy and Staff, Dr. Albert Brisson, Dr. Natalie Basiuk (Oshawa), Drs.
