Amy Pepper

PEPPER, Amy Rebecca- 30, of Oakland, California died Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012.

She was born to Dean and Elaine Pepper, June 13, 1981, in Cobourg, Ontario.  Amy was a graduate of CDCI East (2000) and earned her Bachelor of Environmental Sciences degree from York University (2004).  She married Brandon Griggs in November, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada and the couple resided in California.

Amy was a gentle, kind and courageous young woman whose passions included family, friendships, love and laughter. She leaves footprints in our hearts as she tiptoed through life with grace, determination and style.

Amy is survived by her loving husband Brandon Griggs; father Dean Pepper of Cobourg, her mother Elaine Pepper of Toronto and brother Jeffrey Pepper of Toronto. She will be fondly missed by her mother and father in law Bobbi and Don Griggs of Oakland; Wendy Curtis and family; and the families of her uncle Jody (Brenda) Pepper of Cobourg, aunt Pam (Danny) Zimmerman of Toronto, aunt Janice Pepper of Toronto and grandparents Irving and Florence (Pepper) Katz of Winnipeg. Amy is predeceased by her grandfather Seymour Pepper of Cobourg.

Service will be held at Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Avenue West, Thornhill on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 11 a.m.
