McINTOSH, Lillian Pearl (nee Hoskin), (1926-2011) – Passed away peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at the age of 85. She was the first and only love of the late Graydon McIntosh. Their love story began as a high school romance that lasted 9 years and grew to 56 years of wedded bliss. She was so loved and cherished by her 3 children, Brian, Roger (Nancy) and Linda Powers (Dave). Nana will also be remembered and sadly missed by her grandchildren, Graydon McIntosh Jr., Reed and Taylyn Powers. Lillian was a dear sister to Wilma McCullough (the late Winston), Marion Fahner (Don) and the late Ruby Macklin (Gordon), Lyle Hoskin and Clare Hoskin and special sister-in-law to Paul McIntosh (Marilyn) and Betty Hoskin. She will also be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews and Peg Fraser (the late Jack) and their families. Lillian enjoyed a wonderful life in Cold Springs filled with the joys of family, friends, business and community and later at Cobourg Retirement Residence. Friends will be received at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E., Cobourg, on Thursday, November 3, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Lillian’s life will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, Cold Springs on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 2 pm.
