Lavoie, Rae Catherine Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Monday, July 4th, 2011, Rae Lavoie (nee Andrews). Dear wife of the late Armel Lavoie and the late Angus Pittman. Loving mother of Dorothy Pittman (James Harding), Dolores Squires (Fred), Jacqueline Rice, Angus Pittman (Peggy), Joanne MacLeod (Martin), Sandra Kay (Phil), the late Christopher Pittman (Debbie), Phillip Lavoie (Liz), Rae Darlene Lavoie (Ramel), and Ghislaine Walton (Sean). Adored grandmother of twenty-two grandchildren with two on the way. Great grandmother to numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Sister of Bill, Roy, Ryhlla, and predeceased by nine siblings. Also missed by her special friends Mary and Dennis McCrea, Lisa Morin, and Wendy Hughes. A celebration of life will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Saturday, July 9th, at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a memorial contribution by cheque to World Vision, Canadian Diabetes Association, Kidney Foundation, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
