June 28, 1946 - March 12, 2011

  Butchart, Judith Heather (nee Anderson) Judy passed away on March 12, 2011 at the age of 64, in the Palliative Care Unit at Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg after a courageous fight with cancer.  Judy leavesRoss, her loving husband of 41 years, cherished daughter Tammy (Costin) and adored son Jeff (Francine). Judy was blessed with 2 beautiful grandchildren, 11 month old Nathan (Jeff and Francine) and 8 month old Olivia (Tammy and Costin).  Judy is survived by her mother, Kay Greenside of Fort Erie, as well as her sister Susan Putney (Paul) of Fort Erie.  She was predeceased by her father Franklin James Anderson.  Judy will be greatly missed by her in-laws, Jim and Jean Butchart of Cobourg and David and Brenda Butchart of Baltimore.  She also leaves behind nephews and a niece as well as many grandnieces and grandnephews. The family deeply thanks Dr. John Jeffrey, Advanced Practice Nurse Janet Giroux and the Oncology team, as well as staff on Davies 5, Kidd 9 and in the Chemo Lab at Kingston General Hospital for their outstanding help and caring. Special thanks to Dr. Erin Pepper, Dr. David Moorsom and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Northumberland Hills Hospital. Grateful thanks to CCAC staff and the VON nurses that helped keep Judy comfortable while at home.  There will be a Memorial Celebration for Judy on Friday March 25, 2011 at 11am at St. Paul's United Church, 200 McIntosh Street (Midland Avenue and Kingston Road), Scarborough, Ontario.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Palliative Care Unit, Northumberland Hills Hospital, 1000 DePalma Dr., Cobourg, ON, K9A 5W6 would be appreciated.
