Bates, Jean Marie (nee Muskett) Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Monday, February 21st, 2011, Jean Bates (nee Muskett) of Grafton at 78 years of age. Beloved and adored wife of the late Ronald John Bates. Loving mother of Jeffery, Kevin & Jennifer, Alan & Gala, Barbara & Jim Turcott, Lisa, and predeceased by her son Harry James. Dear grandmother of Amber, Kristen, Katelyn, Ryan, Sean, Megan, Dharma, and predeceased by her grand-daughter Jillian. Cherished cousin of the late Marjory Muskett. Sister-in-law of Ada, Harry, Ruth, Bruce, Stephen, the late May, and the late George. Daughter of the late Harry and the late Gladys. A Funeral Service will be held at St. George’s Anglican Church in Grafton on Friday, February 25th, at 1 pm. Visitation to be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
