Lawson, Andrew M. QC (founding Provincial Director of Legal Aid Ontario) - Suddenly, at the Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg, on Wednesday November 17, 2010, at the age of 83. Andrew Lawson son of the late Rev. Arthur Lawson and Allene Louise (nee Andrew). Friend of the late F. Muir Flint. Dear brother of Walter and his wife Nancy, Arthur and his wife Olive and by his sister Betty McNeely. Predeceased by his brother-in-law Dr. Donald T. McNeely. Andy will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Andy's formal education began at Lakefield College and continued at U.C.C. Following graduation from Trinity College at U. of T., Andy studied law at Osgoode Hall. Following cremation, a private family service will be held at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St., East, Cobourg. Interment Canton Cemetery.
