Vickers, Lorne Hubert - Peacefully at Streamway Villa Nursing Home in Cobourg on August 5th, 2010, Lorne Vickers at 67 years of age. Son of the late Brad and Florence Vickers. Dear father of Karen Van Neste (Derek), Mia Vickers, Marc Vickers, and Denise Vickers. Loving grandfather of Jonathan, Chad, Austin, Wesley, Tyrone, and Damian. Brother of Ernie (Barb), Lloyd (Mia), Joyce (the late Jim), Esther (the late Jack), Pauline (Gord), Brad (John), Hilda (Reiny), Marilyn (Nelson), Eldon (Trudy), Florence (Ed), Valerie (Bob), and the late Louisa (Harvey). Also missed by his many nieces and nephews. At Lorne's request, cremation was held without services or visitation. Those wishing may make a memorial donation by cheque to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
