DAVIS, Hazel May (nee Jones) - Hazel was born Hazel May Jones, a daughter to Harry and Edith Jones in Castleton on March 3, 1925. Growing up with four brothers and three sisters, Hazel met Victor William Davis, the love of her life at Little Lake in 1939. After courtship, they married in December of 1942. Victor predeceased Hazel on February 23, 1989 after 47 years together. Remaining in the immediate area, Hazel and Victor were successful farmers in Cramahe Township and raised three boys, Garry, Melvin and Kelvin. Family and friends always remained a priority with Hazel and that is as evident today as it was throughout her life. It has been said that wealth can only be judged on the strength of support of family and friends. Hazel was certainly blessed with these. Hazel has been predeceased by four brothers, Everett, Frank, Donald, and Clarence and two sisters, Irene and Ruth. Sister Grace mourns her passing and will miss her. Hazel passed through this life and will be missed by all family and friends.
