Peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, October 16th, 2021 in Castleton, Ontario at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Ladele Fitton. Loving father to Linda Patricia Szekeres (John), David Robert (Lisa), Robert Samuel Jr., Andrew Lawrence (Cara), and Randy Proulx (Nora). Cherished grandfather to Jamie Linda Hill, Aggie Lee (Hill), David Robert Jr., Kelsey Marie, Hayden Mitchell, Emily Elizabeth, Alison Rose (Jordan), and Alana Jean. Cherished great grandfather to Oliver, Penelope, and Merideth. Robert is pre-deceased by his sister Barbara and brother Tom. Cremation to take place. A graveside service will take place on October 21st, 2021 at 1 pm at Castleton Cemetery in Castleton, Ontario. If desired, donations may be made to the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation.
I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing, Bob was always in my dad's mind, he talked of him fondly and stories of them all made him laugh all the time, he was a wonderful friend to my Dad. Take care in knowing your Dad was loved by many.
