MESSAGES OF CONDOLENCE / DONATIONS

Judy and Ron Koonter - September 29, 2021

My dear children of my very dear friend, I am so sorry that we cannot attend the memorial service for Jean. We kept hoping the borders would open without too much hassle but it wasn’t meant to be. I miss Jean every day. She was so kind and loving and not afraid to speak her mind. I remember trying to convince her to run for a position on the HOA board. Her response was always NO because she said she couldn’t keep her mouth zipped. I told her that was why I thought she would be good on the board. She never gave in. She was a one of a kind true friend. We feel like we have an extended family in all of you. Hug each other and cherish the memories. We will be with you in spirit. Love, Ron and Judy Koonter

Bob & Carole Allen - September 29, 2021

Jean was a wonderful friend and neighbour in Fenelon - always loved her smile and chats. Meeting all the family was special and visits in Florida (her happy place) when Shelagh visited brings back happy memories. Deepest sympathy to you all - she was definitely a special lady!!!

Bill & Bev Woodbine - September 28, 2021

Still hard to believe that Jean is gone. It was quite a shock when she passed away. Thinking of you all. Take care. Love Bill & Bev xoxo

Al and Arlene Efford - September 26, 2021

Can't find the right words to say how Jean was just a total sweetheart to us !! If some things went a little sideways for us at Island she would just put her arm around you and say ..... don't worry about it ....and with a smile on her face ... put an arm around you ... and have you smiling or laughing in no time!! We so loved being around her ... and meeting a lot of her family... that she made our years at Island have so many good memories ....she was so SUPER good to us that she will remain a sweetheart in our memories forever !!

Suzanne and Arden Jones - September 26, 2021

Jean was a dear friend to us, especially during our winters at Island in the Sun. We enjoyed her wit and her wisdom, her friendliness and honesty. Sincere condolences to her family from Suzanne and Jean's boyfriend Arden.

LAURAL & MURRAY ROSS - September 25, 2021

Jean was one of the first people we met at Island In the Sun and was a joy to be with because of her welcoming nature and wit. She is greatly missed. Please accept our deepest sympathies at this time and always remember the fun times. Laural & Murray Ross

Anne Tesluk - September 23, 2021

All my sympathy on the loss of Jean. I met her at duplicate bridge, and she became my partner, precovid. She was a lovely lady, and a pleasure to play with, and will be missed. Anne Tesluk
