May 29, 1987 - October 22, 2014

Suddenly in Peru at 27 years of age. Beloved son of Ed and Pat Casteels. Loving brother of Shannon (Owain Jones), Denise (Jayson Parrington) and Michael (Allison Chisholm). Pre-deceased by grandparents, Albert & Emerentia Casteels and Al & Pat Lucyshyn, uncle Gary Lucyshyn and cousin Dennis Zoelman. Steven will also be missed by his nephews Gavin & Simon Jones, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Steven had an inexplicable exuberance about him. His laughter will go on forever. You traveled in search of love and peace. May the peace you found comfort you as you continue your journey. Friends are invited to call at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St., E., Cobourg on Friday from 4 – 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Church Grafton on Saturday November 8th, 2014 at 11 am. Parish prayers will be held in the funeral home on Friday evening at 7:15 pm.
