After his daily morning workout at the YMCA and while having his usual afternoon nap on the living room couch, Glen passed away suddenly, but not before enjoying his last cup of coffee and a butter tart. Left to grieve is his devoted wife Marilyn and his step-son Chris (Cheryl). Glen was pre-deceased by his much loved step-daughter Adrienne. Glen also leaves behind his brother Ken (Treasure) of Calgary and his brother-in-law Brian (Laurie) of Thornbury. Glen loved watching old movies and sports on TV, especially hockey, curling, tennis but most of all lacrosse. Glen was an outstanding lacrosse player in his younger years earning him a place in the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame for which he was very proud of as well as his much prized Mann Cup ring. He would talk your ear off about lacrosse if you got him started. After spending a number of years working as a draftsman, Glen decided to give teaching a try. He spent 28 years teaching drafting and woodshop for the Durham District School Board. Glen will be greatly missed by family and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday April 26th from 11-1 pm. at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St., E., Cobourg followed by a funeral service at 1 pm. If desired donations may be made to the Northumberland Humane Society or the Northumberland Minor Lacrosse Association.
